Where it all began

The Pé na Terra Festival is a leading cultural event in the south of Portugal, created in 2012 in the village of Fuseta by the Fertilenredo Cultural Association.

The festival was created with the purpose of celebrating and promoting the cultural expressions of Portuguese-speaking countries, creating a space for meeting, sharing and valuing the common roots of Portuguese-speaking countries.

Over 12 editions, the event has established itself as an intercultural meeting point, offering a program that highlights music, dance and gastronomy as tools for bringing cultures closer together.

After 12 years in Vila da Fuseta and due to its exponential growth, the event moves to Almancil, with the aim of expanding its reach and receiving more participants.

ALMANCIL

As a popular Portuguese destination for housing among Brazilian and African communities, the village of Almancil is aligned with the main objectives of the Pé na Terra Festival to value the culture of Portuguese-speaking countries.

In return, the festival reinforces the welcoming and multicultural character of the parish, promotes tourism and the region's economy, encourages better integration of immigrants with locals and projects Almancil on the national and international scene as a promoter of music, art and dance encounters.

We believe that together we can make a difference in building a more inclusive and culturally rich society.

Transport

Transport Festival ↔ Ancão Beach

Pé na Terra will provide a bus that will run the Festival – Praia do Ancão – Festival route, passing through the city center and several interesting points. This is an excellent opportunity for participants to make the most of their stay and get to know the region better. We will soon be announcing the full route, which includes stops at some of the best gastronomic, cultural and natural attractions in Amancil.
